Possible ways to reduce shipping costs

One of the ways that's being proposed by logistics firms is the use of trailers instead of containers. This could reduce transportation costs by an estimated 10%. Moreover, businesses are lobbying for the reduction of passage fees at border gates.

Traders now have to pay these fees at both sides of the border gate, which increases the transportation costs by 20%. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is deliberating these methods.
