The signing, attended by Vietnamese Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh and his Israeli counterpart Ofir Akunis, marked a milestone in co-operation in hi-tech agriculture, aquaculture, materials technology, health science, and renewable energy.
The agreement supports joint projects, events and meetings, information exchange, and cooperation between universities in Israel and Vietnam.
It's expected the two countries will further cooperate in all fields and target a two-way trade turnover of 3 billion USD per year.
