In his address, the Greek Party leader highlighted the development of bilateral ties between the two parties. He also hoped to enhance the traditional friendship and co-operation between Greece and Vietnam.
The Greek leader underscored the need to respect sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country, and supported the settlement of disputes in the East Sea through peaceful means in line with international law. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said the Communist Party of Vietnam was keen to further enhance co-operation with the Communist Party of Greece, urging the two sides to further bilateral co-operation.
On the same day, the Greek delegation held talks with the Vietnamese delegation led by Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the party’s External Relations Committee.
