Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Monday afternoon received the delegation. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said Vietnam always appreciated the relationship with China and hoped to enhance this relationship based on the interest of the two peoples, as well as peace and prosperity in the region and the world.
The Chinese party representative underlined that China attached importance to co-operation with Vietnam. He also expressed the sincere sympathy of the Chinese people to local residents in Vietnam's central region which had been severely affected by the recent storm.
