Phu Quoc was the most popular destination in the province, thanks to a variety of high class entertainment spaces and resorts. By the end of June 2017, total turnover from tourism in Kien Giang Province reached over 98 million US dollars, up 20% from the same period in 2016. At this rate, the province is expected to welcome about 7 million tourists this year, bringing total turnover to nearly 200 million US dollars.
