Loans help families escape poverty
VTV.vn - Poor families will be given acces to loans of up to 25 million VND, or 1200 USD to build or repair their houses under and new Government policy.
The loans will be subject to a 3% interest rate over 15-year term, with a 5-year grace period. The Vietnam Bank for Social Policy will be responsible for issuing the loans.
Commune-level people’s committees will be responsible for monitoring the construction of houses when the new policy takes effect on October 1.
