Thanh Tri bridge-highway 5 intersection inaugurated

This area in the east of Hanoi is well known for heavy traffic jams. The new modern intersection includes 4 viaducts connecting the Thanh Tri Bridge and Highway 5, and will help avoid waiting time caused by traffic at the previous intersection.

The 7.6 billion USD project was funded by Japanese ODA and the leftover money from the construction of the Thanh Tri Bridge. The project was finished 7 months ahead of schedule.
