Quang Nam fisherman receives new steel-hulled fishing boat

VTV.vn - A fisherman in the central province of Quang Nam has just received his first steel-hulled fishing boat based on government Decree 67 which allows Vietnamese fishermen to access loans for building new boats.
The 25 metre long, 6.5m wide fishing boat took 8 months to complete. The boat is equipped with modern equipment and cost around 590,000 USD. It will be capable of long off-shore fishing trips.
