Mekong Delta Region combats increased salinisation

VTV.vn - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has instructed local authorities to combat salinisation in the Mekong Delta Region.

The local authorities have been requested to monitor the situation closely, increase water reserves, and renovate irrigation systems.

These government bodies will have to establish methods to transport more water into these reserves. Local citizens are recommended to use freshwater efficiently.
