Laos supports Vietnam to overcome drought and salinisation

Addressing the event, the VFF President expressed his gratefulness to the Lao Government and People. He emphasised that the environmental disaster had pushed more than 1 million Vietnamese people into difficulties, with estimated damages to have reached 256 million USD.

The VFF President said the donation showed the traditional relations, the solidarity and mutual support between Laos and Vietnam.
