Kien Giang province celebrates National Tourism Year 2016

This 3-day festival took place in the main square of Ha Tien commune and attracted a large number of visitors. The cuisine fair featured dozens of food stalls with traditional dishes from the Mekong Delta region.

Besides having chance to enjoy the southern cuisine of Vietnam, visitors could also request calligraphic characters for good luck. On this occasion, the Kien Giang authority and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organised 7 sport tournaments. This was an opportunity to introduce the culture of the Kiên Giang people to foreign friends.
