VTV.vn - France has been one of Vietnam’s key training and education partners.

In 2009, Vietnam and France signed an agreement on foundation of France-Vietnam University of Science and Technology of Hanoi. Since then, the university has become one of four international public universities in Vietnam.

This is a laboratory dedicated to molecular analysis for third-year students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. In Vietnam, students rarely have such an opportunity to study in a laboratory with modern equipment.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology was jointly established following an inter-government agreement between Vietnam and France in 2009. Its training programmes include 6 fields such as nanotechnology, new materials, and energy.

The Product Lifecycle Management Competency Centre was founded by Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the French Ministry of Education, and Dassault Systèmes Company in 2014.  There are about 5 or 6 centres such as this offering high-tech human resources training globally.

Vietnam has potential as well as demand for science and technology human resources. Such training centres will partly contribute to meeting domestic and international demands for highly-skilled workers.
