Angolan epidemics leave 40 Vietnamese dead
VTV.vn - News relating to Vietnamese workers in Africa. 40 Vietnamese workers have died from a variety of diseases in Angola since the beginning of this year.

According to information by the Overseas Labour Management Department of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, 29 died from yellow fever and 11 from malaria. The country has experienced an epidemic since December last year.

The Overseas Labour Management Department has asked labour exporters to take good care of the workers currently working or planning to work in the epidemic-hit region. Workers must be provided with information on the current epidemic as well as basic preventive methods such as vaccinations.
