Vietnam and US look forward to stronger future ties

VTV.vn - A conference to discuss future directions after 20 years of Vietnam-US relations was held in Hanoi yesterday.

At the event, Deputy PM cum Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh welcomed the return of US Secretary of State John Kerry and hailed his contributions to bilateral relations between the 2 nations.

Terry expressed his delight at being able to join this special event, and expressedgratitude for the support and compassion the Vietnamese have shown in findingthe remains of fallen US soldiers and healing the wounds of war. Kerry alsopraised the prospering partnership between the 2 countries and reaffirmed hisbelief that the TPP agreement will provide positive results.
