Prime Minister meets Laos Minister of Planning and Investment

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also asked Laos to assist Vietnamese businesses in their investments in the country. The PM stressed the importance of transparency and institutional change.

The Lao Minister of Planning and Investment said the country had updated its policies to encourage investment and helped projects become more efficient. He also requested that both sides increase exchanges and supervision to ensure investment projects are done on time.
