Interviews removed for Vietnamese-foreign marriages
VTV.vn - Interviews will no longer be necessary for marriages between Vietnamese and foreigners couples according to the new Law on Civil Status and its guiding decree which will take effect on January 1st.
This will help simplify the registration of marriages / and save time.
According to the Ministry of Justice, there were nearly 7,000 marriages between Vietnamese and foreigner last year. Over a third of these were between Vietnamese and American citizens.
