Police seize 1,300 unclear-origin poultry in Nghệ An

NGHỆ AN — Traffic police in the central province of Nghệ An seized a coach transporting nearly 1,300 baby poultry without clear origin on Monday in Diễn Châu District’s Diên Hồng Commune.

Đỗ Minh Hiếu - the coach driver - failed to show the police legal documents proving the origin of the poultry, the online newspaper Infonet reported.

According to the initial investigation, Hiếu admitted to the police he was hired to carry the baby poultry from Hà Nội to Nghệ An.

The police have handed over the baby poultry to the district’s animal health division.
