Hà Nội promotion month to open in November

HÀ NỘI — The Hà Nội Sales Promotion Month 2018 is set to take place in November with the participation of 500 to 1,000 retailers and businesses.

The month-long sales promotion will allow consumers access to a wide range of discounted products.

According to the municipal People’s Committee, the programme would include an opening ceremony, a vote on the most preferred Vietnamese products, a tourism promotion day and ’golden’ week.

The promotion month has been running for 10 years now, and is attracting more and more interest from consumers.

The event is an opportunity for enterprises to boost production, enhance competitiveness and advertise their products and brands among local consumers as well as domestic and foreign tourists.

The month is an annual event aimed at boosting consumption, especially of made-in-Vietnam goods, and helping firms attract and connect with customers.

Around 1,000 enterprises participated in last year’s event. — VNS
