Winners of Young Fine Arts Festival 2020 announced

The festival’s art council presented two first prizes to Nguyen Van Du from Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Vo Thanh Thuan from Thua Thien – Hue as well as four second prizes to Nguyen Thi Hong Khanh, Nguyen Thi Cam Ly, Cao Thi Thuy Nhung and Ton Nu Thi Bich Tram.

The organising board also honoured seven third prize and nine consolation prize winners.

In addition to winning works, 70 other excellent works were selected for display at the festival.

The Young Fine Arts Festival 2020 attracted 365 works, including 281 paintings, 42 graphic works, 38 sculptures, three installations and one video art piece by 197 artists from 36 provinces and cities around the country.

The festival offers an opportunity for young artists to show their artistic creativity and introduce their new art works to the public.

The event will last until August 5.
