Wind and Love Across My Homeland is an artistic program on New Year's Eve that blends studio performances with on-site recordings, creating a rich and diverse artistic that is deeply rooted in Vietnamese cultural identity. Through its carefully curated performances, the program paints a vivid portrait of the Vietnamese people across the country, reflecting on stories of national renewal and emerging opportunities in a changing era. According to the production team, the program is designed to embody a strong sense of Vietnamese pride, capturing both the spirit of the times and enduring cultural values. Its style is modern yet traditional and contemporary yet deeply familiar.
Wind and Love Across My Homeland unfolds in three chapters: Wind (symbolizing opportunities, global dynamics, and contemporary challenges), Love (representing the inner strength within every individual), and Wind and Love Across My Homeland (the collective journey that creates extraordinary achievements). Through a visual journey across provinces and cities along Vietnam’s S-shaped land, the program creatively portrays national accomplishments across various fields. These stories are conveyed through short documentary segments that are meticulously produced with high-quality visuals and sound design.
Alongside its documentary elements, the program features elaborate musical performances by renowned artists such as Tran Thu Ha, Tung Duong, Duong Hoang Yen, Anh Tu, and Quoc Thien, which are intended to leave a lasting emotional impression on television audiences during the sacred moment of transition between the old year and the new.
Editor Le My Cuong from the Culture and Entertainment Department of VTV shared insights about the program: “Wind carries the pulse of the times, the breath of change, and the marks of the era we are living in. Wind represents external forces: the environment, constant movement, and the momentum that propels us forward. And within those continuous movements lies a quiet yet enduring power, love. Love for family, for people, for our homeland, and for the small, everyday things that shape Vietnamese identity. This is our inner strength, the energy that enables Vietnamese people to persevere through storms, find joy after hardships, and always strive for a better existence”.
He added, “The program does not separate wind and love, but brings them together. We neither escape nor surrender to change. Instead, we become the wind, choosing to engage with the times and moving alongside social transformation with initiative and responsibility grounded in compassion. When the wind of the era meets the love within each heart, a miraculous journey unfolds, one that carries the nation farther, stronger, and more proudly into the future”.
Wind and Love Across My Homeland is scheduled to air on the evening of Lunar New Year’s Eve on VTV, marking a meaningful and emotionally resonant start to the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
