Local forces basically gained control of the fire, but many areas still face the risk of catching on fire again because of high heat. Smoke indicates high risk areas.
More than 300 people were mobilized to stop the fire in Quang Ngai. Fire trucks were sent to the area to respond to timely rescue. In Quang Nam Province, local force promptly controlled a fire of nearly four hectares of acacia forest in Hoa Thuan ward, Tam Ky City.
According to statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, from June 26, nearly 150 hectares of forests in Central Vietnam have been destroyed by wildfires.
