Warning of floods in central regions

According to the forecast for tonight and tomorrow, localities from Thanh Hoa to Binh Dinh provinces will continue to experience rain, from 20 to 40mm. Localities from from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai provinces are forecast to have rainfall of 50-100mm.

The water level in Ve and Kon river is forcast to exceed level 3. The level of water in Lai Giang river will exceed level 3. These localities face the high risk of flash floods and landslides. The municipal administration warns that heavy rains will continue in the coming hours. It has also urged sectors and local administrations to prepare plans to control floods and landslides and to constantly update local residents about rains, floods and submerged areas.
