War veterans from Ukraine welcomed in Hanoi

He reiterated that the Party, State, people and army of Vietnam continuously remember the significant contributions made by the Soviet Union war veterans, including Ukraine’s for Vietnam during its struggles for national independence and reunification.

A representative of the Ukrainian veterans expressed his pleasure to be back to Vietnam as well as his impression at the achievements Vietnam has made in national construction and protection.

The delegation is scheduled to visit the Air Defence - Air Force Service and a number of tourism sites in Vietnam during their stay.
