Vu Lan celebrated abroad

The Vu Lan Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, is one of the biggest Buddhist events in Vietnam. The event is intended to honour parents, particularly mothers. Vietnamese abroad also mark the event with various activities.

The Vietnamese community in the Polish capital of Warsaw gathered in Nhân Hòa Pagoda for the festival, where parents were given tea by their children.
