VTVcab owns the rights to all Esports tournaments organized by EFG
VTV.vn - According to the agreement with ESL Faceit Group, VTVcab will own all the rights of the eSports tournaments organized by EFG in the next years in Vietnam.

As a result, VTVcab will exclusively produce, localize and distribute more than 50 annual tournaments organized by ESL Faceit Group (EFG) for Vietnamese viewers on TV channels, OTT and networks, VTVcab's partnership.

VTVcab will broadcast live multiplatform tournament systems such as ESL Pro Tour, StarCraft 2, Intel® Extreme Masters Rio Major, DOTA 2 tournaments such as DPC, ESL One.... The number of tournaments may increase per year.

In addition, mobile e-sports fans in Vietnam have the opportunity to watch and enjoy one of the most important mobile tournaments in the world: the Snapdragon Pro series with a wide audience of fake followers such as Free Fire, Lien Quan Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift.

According to Hoang Ngoc Huan, chairman of the board of directors, VTVcab is the first unit to cooperate on this scale with a leading e-sports corporation in the world.

"We see the growing popularity and interest of young audiences in these tournaments. Through a comprehensive cooperation with EFG, VTVcab will create many unique contents about eSports as well as eSports. It will organize international class tournaments in Vietnam in the near future," said Hoang Ngoc Huan.

VTVcab will broadcast live on multiple platforms many of the major e-sports tournaments organized by EFG.

Sharing more details about the plan to organize production in the future, Huan said VTVcab intends to build an "ecosystem" for the e-sports community. There, the audience can not only watch on many different platforms, but also have the opportunity to directly participate in the tournaments that VTVcab plans to broadcast.

According to Huan, large-scale sports tournaments also enrich the content of this company's TV channels, apps and social media channels.
