VTV requests World Cup copyright protection

VTV will continue to accept requests from other broadcasters on copyright sharing in accordance with FIFA regulations. The deadline for requests is 5pm local time today (June 12th). Once approved, other broadcasters have to relay the signal with no additional advertisement or visual elements added to the structure of the broadcasts.

All approved broadcasters are responsible for making sure that the transmissions don't to go beyond the territory of Vietnam. Outlets in violation of copyright in any form can be held responsible under the law.
