Vinh Long: Over 1,500 people join Olympic Run Day for Public Health

More than 1,500 people, including province, department, branch and locality leaders, officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, students, youth union members and sports athletes, joined the event.

The event is one of the activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the sports industry and respond to the “All people take exercises following the example of great Uncle Ho" campaign.

After the launch ceremony, participants ran in 2,000m and 4,000m categories.

Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, were presented to units of Vinh Long province, that organised the District and Commune Sports Festivals in 2022.
