The Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspapers have officially announced the launch of the "Vietnamese Advertising Angel" competition. This is a "platform" to guide the aesthetic sense, culture, and communication skills of the younger generation, while connecting young people with activities promoting tourism, cuisine , and culture in Vietnam; encouraging a spirit of community service through charitable activities, sharing love, and spreading humanitarian values.
Beyond simply being a competition, the organizers aim to build a healthy, reputable, and professional artistic "meeting place," where children can showcase their talents, receive fair and transparent recognition, and be guided towards proper development.
Accordingly, the competition is open to Vietnamese citizens aged 3-19. A highlight of this year's competition is the scientifically structured age group division, comprising three categories: Mini Angel (3-8 years old), Little Angel (9-13 years old), and Teen Angel (14-19 years old).
Each competition category is designed with its own criteria, tailored to the psychology, understanding, and abilities of each group, ranging from nurturing innocence and confidence in young children to developing skills, creative thinking, and resilience in teenagers.
The contestants' journey will go through three main rounds: preliminary, semi-final, and final. In the online preliminary round, contestants will introduce themselves, perform a catwalk, and demonstrate their presentation skills, conveying positive messages about life. In the semi-final round, they will continue to be challenged with a talent competition, a themed presentation, advertising skills, and participation in charitable activities.
In the final round, contestants will participate in the traditional Vietnamese dress (áo dài) and self-chosen outfit segments, as well as Q&A sessions and other sub-competitions such as Most Beautiful Face, Most Talented Face, Face for the Community, and Most Inspiring Face...
Within the framework of the competition, contestants not only compete but also participate in a series of diverse activities that are rich in experiences and have social significance. In particular, they will work alongside the organizers in community and charitable programs, thereby fostering a spirit of sharing, raising awareness of social responsibility, and spreading humanitarian values to the community.
In addition, contestants will have the opportunity to participate in promotional activities and gain practical experience, directly introducing Vietnamese culture, tourism, cuisine, and everyday values. This is considered a practical environment that helps them better understand the role of media and advertising in connecting and spreading the image of their homeland.
The organizers also provide comprehensive training programs, including catwalk skills, posing, etiquette, interview skills, foreign languages, and foundational knowledge of advertising and communication skills. These skills not only prepare the contestants for the competition but also contribute to their long-term and holistic development in the future.
According to the organizational plan, the competition will officially open for nationwide registration from April 25th to June 30th, 2026. After the selection phase, the most outstanding contestants will enter a series of intensive activities at the "Common House," taking place from July 11th to 14th, 2026, where they will receive intensive training, hone their skills, and participate in practical experience activities leading up to the final round.
The finals for each competition category will be held separately to ensure professionalism and program quality from July 15-17, 2026.
