Vietnamese, Lao NA leaders hold talks

The two legislators agreed to bolster cooperation in human resource training, share their experience in institution building, and law building and the oversight of law enforcement.

They will work together to inaugurate the Vietnam-Lao Revolutionary History Relic Site in Son La marking the 55th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and 40th anniversary of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.

The Lao National Assembly supports the Joint Statement on the East Sea of the 49th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Laos pledged to sustainably and effectively use water resources in the Mekong River and seriously implement agreements signed by the two countries’ leaders.
