Vietnamese films chosen to be part of Busan Film Festival
VTV.vn - Vietnam has entered five features, two short films and three projects into the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) which will be held in October.

Four films will be chosen for "A Window on Asian Cinema", a category for the latest and most talked-about films by directors in Asia. They are: Thua Me Con Di (Goodbye Mother), Anh Trai Yeu Quai (My Annoying Brother), Bac Kim Thang (Home Sweet Home), and Bi Mat Cua Gio (Secret of The Wind).

"Ròm" by director Trần Thanh Huy will be competing in the New Currents category which is for the first or second feature film of a director. It's considered to be the most important category at Busan. This is the highest number of films that Vietnam has ever had at the festival, one of the biggest in Asia.

The Busan International Film Festival will take place from October 3 to 12.
