Vietnamese bamboo straws gain popularity in domestic market
VTV.vn - Bamboo is a common plant that's often used by Vietnamese people to make many things.
It's used in making chopsticks, baskets, and mats. Inspired by this, a young Vietnamese man started making bamboo straws as an alternative to plastic straws. After a lot of promotion and hard work, they're now available in many countries and territories around the world.
