Vietnam wins big at International Olympiad 2017

One team finished third at the 58th International Mathematical Olympiad with 6 medals, including 4 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Thanks to their success, Vietnam ranked 3rd out of the 112 countries and territories that attended. This is the highest ranking Vietnam has ever reached at this type of competition. A few days ago, the Vietnam Chemistry Olympiad team also won 3 golds and 1 silver medal, ranking 2nd in the competition. Meanwhile, Vietnam's five-member Physics Olympiad team won 4 golds and 1 silver, managing to snag one medal for each member of the team.
