Vietnam-US enhance cooperation on renewable energy

Speaking at the meeting, he affirmed that Vietnam has always attached importance to energy security and considers it as the main target of the country's energy development strategies and policies. Former Secretary of State Kerry expressed his willingness to enhance the two countries' cooperation with regards to responding to climate change, especially in developing clean energy, a sustainable infrastructure, and smart water resource management. Vietnam highly valued Kerry's viewpoints and agreed to work together in studying and developing the renewable energy sector of the country.
