Vietnam to take part in online int’l festival

This is the first time the full play “King Oedipus” is staged in Vietnam

The play was recorded and sent to the festival’s organizers.

This is the first time the full play “King Oedipus” is staged in Vietnam. Previously, only excerpts of the play were performed at festivals for young talented theater artists.

According to director Bui Nhu Lai, the play focused on Oedipus’s terrible tragedy and his determination to find out the truth in the curse that he will kill his father and marry his mother.
