Vietnam to sell 150.000 tons of rice to the Philippines
VTV.vn - Vietnam will supply 150,000 tonnes of 25% broken rice to the Philippines as it has won a bid to find suppliers for 250,000 tonnes organised by the Philippines' National Food Authority (NFA).
According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 150,000 tonnes of rice will be delivered during September and October at a price of US$424.85 per tonne including transportation fees, insurance and other expenses. This price has satisfied the requirements of NFA's price cap of US$425 per tonne.
