Vietnam to devise a general policy on religion
VTV.vn - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh underscored the Party and State’s consistent policy of observing the right to freedom of religion and belief.

He made the statement during a working session with the Government Committee for Religious Affairs on Thursday.

During the talks, the committee warned of a number of problems facing religious activities, including the abuse of religion in conducting activities that cause social disorder and harm the international integrity of the country. Therefore, the Deputy PM has asked the Committee to provide consultations for the draft on the law of belief and religion, which will be submitted to the 14th National Assembly for approval.
