The XIV National Press Awards Ceremony 2019 was held on June 21 to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2020) at the Hanoi Opera House.
More than 1,600 works were carefully selected to compete for the prizes. The jury decided to award 103 outstanding journalistic works with 9 A prizes, 21 B prizes, 41 C prizes and 32 Consolation prizes.
The Federation of Journalists of Vietnam Television won 3 awards at the 14th National Press Awards Ceremony - 2019, including:
- A Prize in the category of Political Talkshow for the program Face - to - Face: "Anti-moral degradation, self-evolution, self-transformation" by the journalists Do Duc Hoang, Nguyen Phuong Mai, Vu Dinh Chung, Nguyen Viet Cuong and Luu Hoang Tuan. This is considered a difficult subject to be dealt with, but with creativity, the work has highlighted the values and tasks that need to be carried out by Party members, strengthening the beliefs of the people in the Party and their awareness on the importance of the Party construction and rectification in the current context.
- C Prize in the category of News, Reportage, Chronicle (Television) with the work on a ghost housing project by authors Pham The Ha, Nguyen Thanh Phong, Tran Van Cuong and Nguyen Dac Hien.
- C Prize in the category of Documentary with the work Two Halves of the World by the authors Tran Thi Thu Ha, Le Minh, Le Trong Duc and Vu Duc Thien.
The prize winning works showed the effort, the intellect, the sense of responsibility, the commitment, the love of the profession and the creativity of the journalists.
