At the talk, Vice President James Wani Igga expressed his gratitude for Vietnam's respect of South Sudan. He also gave thanks to Vietnam for sending forces to participate in the United Nation peace-keeping activities in the country.
Also during the visit, Deputy Minister Nguyễn Chí Vịnh discussed bilateral cooperation plans with the Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During his trip, Deputy Minister Vịnh also visited Vietnam's first level-2 field hospital, which has 63 staff members, for the UN's peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.
