Vietnam's top 500 firms named

The event was held to honour the contribution of Vietnam’s largest enterprises in the 2014 fiscal year. The firms were judged based on company revenues, profits, total assets and the number of employees.

The top 5 included the Vietnam National  Oil and Gas Group, Samsung Electronics Vietnam, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Vietnam Electricity Group and the military-run Viettel Group. At the event, Vietnam Report Company also named Vietnam’s Top 50 of 2015, highlighting their contribution to the state budget and growth rates from 2011 to 2014.
