VTV.vn - By the end of October 2018, Vietnam's seafood exports reached 7.2 billion USD, increasing nearly 5% over the same period last year.

Shrimp exports to the US market began to prosper thanks to the US lowering the antidumping tariff on shrimp imports from Vietnam as a result of the 12th period of review (POR 12).

The price of tra fish increased sharply. A lack of supply caused tra fish's average price and export value to increase significantly.

Exports of tuna, squid, or octopus have good growth. VASEP forecasts that Vietnam's seafood export turnover this year will reach 8.9 billion USD, up 7% compared to last year.
