VTV.vn - Though many economists were concerned about Vietnam's trade deficit earlier this year, the trade balance in recent months has reversed spectacularly, with trade surplus of 2.8 billion USD.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this is the first time Vietnam’s export turnover may reach over 210 billion USD and the export growth rate may be three times the target, which is set at 7-8%. Major export products still play an important role in the rapid growth of export turnover. In particular, phones and components are estimated to reach 41.3%, up 30.6% over the same period. China remains the largest importer of Vietnam, with turnover of 52.1 billion USD.
