Vietnam’s 4G network speed second in Southeast Asia

According to Open Signal’s report, the average 4G speed in Vietnam is 21.49 megabit per second, while in Singapore it’s 44 megabit per second, which is the highest in the world.

4G coverage in Vietnam is currently at 70% of the population, which is higher than several developed countries such as Italy, France and Germany. Meanwhile, South Korea and Japan top the world in terms of 4G coverage, with 97% and 94% respectively.

Open Signal also pointed out that countries with top 4G speeds have steadily seen slow telecommunications growth while a number have already been preparing their 5G networks.
