Vietnam ranks 19th in global education rankings

The rankings were conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (or OECD).

Singapore tops the rankings followed by Japan, Estonia, Taiwan China and Finland. Vietnam ranks 19th before Canada at 20th. The PISA rankings are conducted every 3 years by OECD.

The recent results are based on test results of 15 year olds from 72 countries and economies. Vietnam first appeared on the PISA rankings in 2012 with exceptional results in reading, math and science which were even higher than those of England and the US.
