Vietnam makes effort to eliminate family violence

In Vietnam, family violence is widespread but the victims, mostly women, prefer to remain quiet about the subject as it leads to shame and has a certain stigma. Experts have put forward several solutions to encourage victims of family violence to raise their voices and to protect themselves.

Violence is no longer only a family issue. It has become a social issue and requires the participation of everyone in the community.
