Vietnam likely to miss economic growth target
VTV.vn - According to experts of the Viet Nam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR), the Vietnamese economy will probably not fulfill the Government’s target of 6.7 per cent GDP growth over the full year.

After disappointing growth of 5.52 per cent in the first half of the year, economists said that the economy would have to grow at 7.6 per cent in the second half of the year to fulfill the Government’s target, a rate that is considered impossible. VEPR experts also suggested that Viet Nam should lower its economic growth forecast to avoid macro-economic instabilities.
