Vietnam - Japan ties enhanced

State President Quang encouraged Japanese businesses to invest in Vietnam at the meeting with Vice President of Japan's International Friendship Exchange Council Yoshihiko Nakagaki on Monday. He stressed on sectors prioritized in Vietnam's industrialization strategy such as infrastructure, energy, support industries, technology transfer and human resources development.

He also said that Vietnam would further improve the legal framework and policies to generate an open and stable business environment for foreign investors. Vietnam is working with Japan to carry out the 6th phase of the Japan-Vietnam Joint Initiative to improve the business environment in Vietnam. Nakagaki said Japan regarded Vietnam among its top partners in Asia.
