Vietnam Film Festival 2021 to take place in Hue city

The 22nd Vietnam Film Festival is aiming to highlight the creativity of cinematographic art, professionalism, human values and national identities.

The festival will feature many major events such as the screening of new entries, a panoramic show, seminars, as well as opening and awards ceremonies.

In addition, various other activities will take place during the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival including a film week in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City; exchange programmes, an exhibition entitled “Thua Thien Hue – destination of film makers, an outdoor film screening and an Ao Dai show.

The biennial festival aims to honour outstanding cinematographic works and artists for their contributions to the development of Vietnamese cinema.

This will be also a cultural and arts event to celebrate the major holidays of the country in 2021, especially the13th National Party Congress.
