VTV.vn - The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee has issued a plan to deploy activities to care for policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and people in need.

Over the past year, the epidemic situation greatly affected people's lives, therefore, the plan to visit and present Tet gifts to people in need, aims to affirm the attention and care of the Party, State, the VFF and a number of socio-political organisations for people, especially those living in difficult circumstances, individuals and families affected by COVID-19.

In order to effectively implement this meaningful activity, the Standing Committee of the VFF Central Committee requested the VFF Committees, at all levels, to coordinate with socio-political organisations, political and mass organisations, to support policy beneficiaries and households in need. Social mobilisation resources and the “For the Poor” Fund must be used properly.

According to the plan, activities to visit and present Tet gifts to people with meritorious services to the revolution, the poor, and people in difficult circumstances, will start from the beginning of January 2022.

The “For the Poor” Fund will be allocated to give gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and households in exceptionally difficult circumstances, with priority given to those with meritorious services to the revolution, disadvantaged families, households in need near border areas, islands, economic difficulties, areas affected by natural disasters, storms and floods.
