Vietnam cultural heritage week kicked off

VTV.vn - A wide variety of cultural activities kicked off the celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day around Hanoi's Old Quarter in Hoan Kiem District on Friday night.

An exhibition on school examinations of the past and a talk show on the ao dai costume for men in modern life are open to the public at the cultural exchange centre from today. The events are intended to preserve heritage, boost tourism and promote the Old Quarter and the capital city. The chain of activities will last until November 26th.
