Vietnam among top 5 favourite destinations for Japanese tourists

The association said that 312 travel companies participated in the survey which listed the top 10 favorite places for Japanese tourists. The results showed that Asia dominated the list with eight destinations. Southeast Asia had three countries in the top five: Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore. Many Japanese tourists choose Vietnam for its food, affordable prices, and shopping. In 2017, Vietnam received over 800,000 Japanese tourists. That number is forecast to reach 1 million this year.
